SY Dayton

An SY-107 by SY-Ovation Cross gives a bit of yield advantage over both its parents. Dayton is a shorter variety with slightly early maturity. Good standability and good test weight coupled with good tolerance to diseases like cephalosporium-stripe (C-Stripe), stripe rust, and soil-borne wheat mosaic virus (SBWMV) make this a good option this fall.

Medium-early maturity, short height. Adapted to high rainfall dryland production in Southern Washington and Northern Oregon. Resistant to Stripe Rust. Released 2017, PVP pending, Title V anticipated, Syngenta Seeds, Inc.
