Jasper continues to be one of the better-yielding lines with decent snow mold resistance. It stands very well and has a good disease package, currently showing good resistance to stripe rust. One drawback is a some variability in falling numbers tests and below-average test weight.
Semi-dwarf, midseason maturity, with high yield potential. Adapted to the 12-18″ rainfall production zones of Washington. Good resistance to eyespot foot rot and very good adult plant resistance to stripe rust. Released 2014, PVP, Title V, WSU.
