ORCF 102

Our old standby, ORCF-102, is starting to show some vulnerability to stripe-rust, average winter-hardiness, and average C-Stripe resistance. ORCF-102 matures late and has average standability. Additionally, it’s the only variety with single-gene resistance we’re carrying this year. Still, ORCF has a proven record of excellence in the PNW, at one time being planted to more acres than any other variety.

Awned, white chaff, medium-tall height, mid-season maturity, winter hardiness similar to Stephens. Single-gene IMI resistance. Resistant to stripe rust, strawbreaker foot rot and moderately resistant to Cephalosporium stripe and moderately susceptible to Fusarium crown rot. End-use quality similar to Stephens. 2004, PVP, Title V, OSU.
